“We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves” by Karen Joy Fowler was another recommendation from my brother’s girlfriend, Emma, after I had enjoyed her last recommendation, “The Fault in Our Stars”.

We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves – Karen Joy Fowler
Film Reviews – Gone Girl and Love Rosie
I don’t normally do film reviews but this weekend I went to the cinema twice and both times I went to see films that have been adapted from books so it felt fitting to do a review here as I have reviewed both the books here too.

The Fault in Our Stars – John Green
My brother’s girlfriend, Emma, had been telling me some time ago about how much she loved John Green’s “The Fault in Our Stars” and I had been intending on getting round to reading it so when my Mum was buying a book at weekend that was on a 2 for £7 deal in Asda and I noticed “The Fault in Our Stars” was in the offer too I went for it. Unfortunately, it did mean I had to have a copy with the film version of the front cover, which I detest, but needs must.

Where Rainbows End – Cecelia Ahern
I decided to re-read “Where Rainbows End” before I go to see the film version, “Love Rosie” which is released in cinemas this week. This is the second book by Cecelia Ahern and although I’ve read it before it has been quite some time since I read it.

My Side of Life – Shane Filan
Confession time; I was a massive Westlife fan for the entirety of their 14 year run. Me and my best mate used to go to the concerts every year, we did an album signing and a book signing and even went to Dublin once to watch them in concert. We loved them, they were a big part of our life and many of our memories of things we have done together are around Westlife.

“Frozen Heat” is the 4th book in the Nikki Heat series of books by fictional author Richard Castle from the TV show “Castle”. I really like these tie-in books as they are featured in the show and you can also see bits in the books that are inspired by events that have happened in the show as Castle is supposed to be writing them using his experiences with Beckett and the others at the 12th Precinct.

As a fan of the Virals series by Kathy Reichs I’ve downloaded a couple of short stories that she has written in this series to my Kindle.

The Year I Met You – Cecelia Ahern
I had been hearing for some time that Cecilia Ahern had a new book due out fairly soon and I was very excited! I went to Asda the day after release day to get it but was disappointed to find they didn’t have it in yet! That did not stop me, whilst in Stratford upon Avon for a tournament at weekend I popped to WH Smiths and snapped up a copy at half price!

After finishing “The Shining” I was obviously desperate to find out what happens next so went straight into “Doctor Sleep”.

Kindle Paperwhite Review
After having problems with the software on my previous eReader not being quite as compatible since I changed laptop I decided to invest in a Kindle Paperwhite. My bookshelves are getting more and more full by the week and I definitely need to do something to curb my paperback habit and I figured the ease of use with the Kindle would mean I’d be more likely to actually download an eBook than I was before.
