The Road – Cormac McCarthy

20121125-020207.jpg

“The Road” tells the story of a man and his son, referred to only as “the man” and “the boy” or “the child” throughout the book, we don’t find out their names. There has been a cataclysmic event that has killed most of the people in America, there is no mention of what has happened in the rest of the world but I can only assume that this is an end of the world type situation and each country is in much the same state as America.

Lone Wolf – Jodi Picoult

20121117-002644.jpg

“Lone Wolf” is the most recent book from Jodi Picoult and tells the story of Luke Warren and his family. Now Reading – Hollywood Crows

When looking for something to read next I noticed this on my shelf and realised I’d never read it! Normally books don’t get shelves until I’ve read them but I bought “Hollywood Crows” in the Borders closing down sale when I was packing to decorate and it got packed and then shelved with the others when I unpacked.

Now Reading – If I Did It

After reading the lighthearted Walsh family tales I decided to take a diversion back to true crime with this strange hypothetical/confessional book written by OJ Simpson but published by the Goldman family. I have read it before so it’s not new to me.
